Painless testicular swelling
What are the tumour markers for seminomas?
hCG is elevated in 20%
What are the tumour markers for non-seminomas?
AFP +/or beta-hCG in 80-85%
What tumour marker can be elevated in germ cell tumours?
LDH (40%)
What is the first-line imaging for suspected testicular cancer?
Ultrasound
What is the treatment of testicular cancer?
Orchidectomy
Chemo +/or radiotherapy depending on stage and grade
