Why did the German Nationalist Party want to shut down the Bauhaus?
A
The German Nationalist Party wanted to shut down the Bauhaus because they wanted to revert back to pre WW1 Germany which was very militant and there wasn’t much if any creativity and the Bauhaus is an Art School and for example the German Nationalist Party wanted to change the newspaper font to Fraktur which is a very medieval font but the Bauhaus was against this and they were creating new modern fonts.
