Food is passed through the oesophagus down into the stomach

Th stomach churns up the food and makes acid called acid chyme to kill bacteria

Food enters the small intestine and the pancreas produces pancreatic juices and the gall bladder stores bile and they add it to the food

As the food passes through the small intestine the small food particles get sucked in to the blood stream

Water is removed from the food wast that was to big to enter the blood stream and travels through the large intestine and exits the body
