Bohemia and Austria had govts which were stronger on small criminal courts

Wurzberg , nobles + mayors burned and the nephew of the prince bishop
Bamberg , Vice chancellor’s wife and kids burned , he confessed and named others
Those who didnt recieve communion prosecuted
Why were these groups persecuted ?
Political and social revenge
Confiscate possessions
If they acted leniently , seen as sympathisers
Evidence of accusations of others increased numbers
When a man was accused and guilty , he was killed with his family too
