those who refused were imprisoned, Punished and maybe even killed.

Jews were first moved to Ghettos within German cities; city districts that were walled off and locked, preventing the Jews from escaping.

The Jews were moved, in their thousands, to death camps such as Auschwitz, Dachau and Treblinka by train. they were murdered by the hundreds by firing squads and in gas chambers. Men, women and children were executed, and their bodies burned in crematoriums.
