Q

why did the League of Nations fail?

A

LACKED MILITARY means of ENFORCEMENT (UN has peacekeepers, need a military so you can do more than just tell them no-enforcement)
LACKED political WILL to IMPOSE sanction (no one wanted to step up)
RARELY achieved UNANIMITY (such diverse countries, many thought they should be in charge if they were bigger)
LACKED SUPPORT (tokenism, countries didn’t want to have to take action)
