What is the moon (idk a good question)
•describes the parts of the moon that are illuminated by the sun as seen from earth
•the moon does NOT emit its own light,it reflects the suns light
What is the NEW MOON
•the moon is between the earth and sun,we can’t see it because the part that is illuminated is facing the sun.
What is the WAXING CREASENT
•it’s illuminated side is starting to become visible as the moon revolves around the sun
What is WAXING GIBBOUS
•The moon is almost full
What is FIRST QUARTER
•the moon looks like half a circle
What is waning gibbous
•we start seeing less of the illuminated side of the moon
What is FULL MOON
•We can see the whole side of the moon
What is LAST QUARTER
The moon looks like half a circle
What is WANING CREASENT
It’s illuminated side is starting to become less visible
