1921- hitler named himself as chairmen of the party
1923- Ludendoff and Hitler declared they were planning to take control of Munich

Nazi Ideology

A
  • nazism identified the German as a part of an Aryan or Nordic master race
  • nationalistic values- aimed to unite all germans living in historically german territory, as well as gain additional territory
  • exclude those deemed either community aliens or inferior races
  • Austrian Anschluss
  • Racist and anti-Semitic ideology- the holocaust
