Levels of organisation: specialised cell
A specialised cell is designated to do a particular job
Example: red blood cells, nerve cell & muscle fibre cell

Groups of similar specialised cells carrying out particular functions in the body
Example: epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, nervous tissue & connective tissue

An organ is a structure made of several different tissues grouped into a structure so that they can work efficiently together to carry out a particular function
Example: heart, brain & lungs

A group of organs working together to carry out particular functions in the body
Examples: circulatory system, respiratory system & nervous system
