What is ankylosis?
The loss of absence of mobility in a joint. Ankyl = crooked,bent,or stiff
What is adhesive capsulitis?
AkA frozen shoulder. Painful ankylosis of the shoulder. Capsule means little box
What is bursitis?
Inflammation of a bursa.
What is chondromalacia?
The abnormal softening of cartilage . Chondro means cartilage malacia softening
What is Costochondritis?
An inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the sternum

What is Hallux Valgus
A bunion , an abnormal enlargement of the joint
Hallux means big toe (latin) Valgus means bent
