What does day mean?
The time taken for a planet to complete one rotation on its own axis.
What does Orbit mean?
The path that objects follow around the Sun or other objects.
What does solstice mean?
The longest or shortest day of the year.
What does equinox mean?
The days of the year where night and day are of equal length.
What does hemisphere mean?
Half the earth divided along a continuous plane, e.g the Northern and Southern Hemispheres divided by the equator.
What does equator mean?
An imaginary line that runs around the Earth at ninety degrees to the axis of rotation.
