A company that operates in more than one country and therefore causes more globalisation

The change of location of companies usually from developed to developing world countries

Knowledge based jobs which normally includes the use of technology e.g financial banking
Knowledge economy
An economy based on specialised knowledge and skill. Jobs require degrees and socialised training
New economy
Refers in the tertiary sector since the 1980s
Deindustrialisation
Decreased activity in manufacturing and closure of industries, leading to unemployment
Primary
Involve acquiring raw materials e.g farming
Secondary
5e manufacturing and assembly process- making something E.g building cars/roads
Tertiary
Refers to the commercial service that support the production and district in process e.g health care
Depopulation
The decline of the total population of an area
