they lost their jobs, they were already getting paid less than the men

what is the suffrage movement

A

it means “the right to vote”,while the men were gone the women gained more political power
1917, PM Boren passed the wartime elections which means that if you are related to anyone in the war you can vote.
1918, he passed the Federal women franchise act, which means that anyone who is related to someone that WAS in the war can vote

why were the Russians upset during the end of the war

A

they were losing territory, the death toll was huge, the war soaked food shortages

1917 in the spring the Russians began rioting

A

APRIL 1918,
the German forces initially advanced 60 km
the allied (Britain, france, Canada, USA) counter attack began JULY of 1918

by AUGUST 1918, the germans were in total retreat
which means GERMANY LOST THE WAR

it officially ended November 11th 1918 at 11:00am
a truce was used to end the world war and the fighting was ended,
THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES WAS SIGNED, a peace argument between the allies and Germany was signed
