Q

What’s evaporation

A

The heat causes water vapour to rise into the atmosphere from the ocean

Q

What’s condensation

A

The water vapour cools and condenses into water droplets which gather together from clouds

Q

What’s precipitation

A

Once the water droplets become too heavy for the clouds to hold, they’re released as rain in low warm areas and snow in high cold areas

Q

What’s through flow

A

Some rain sinks into the soil. It’s called infiltration. The moves then to the bottom of the soil

Q

What’s groundwater

A

Some water moved into rocks. It’s called percolation. The water moves through the rock to the bottom of the soil as groundwater

Q

What’s transpiration

A

Water vapour also evaporates from the dump ground as its released by the leaves on trees and plants
