Generally, what is a wave?
A
A wave is the transferring of energy without transferring matter
Cuz particles oscillate to transfer energy, but they don’t go with them

How can waves travel?
A
They travel from a source (like your cute voice from your mouth) through a medium (like the air/water)

What is period oscillation?
A
Is the up and down motion that’s repetitive over an imaginary straight line

What is the direction of propagation?
A
The direction of the wave (energy) travels
(also called energy transport)

What is a wavelength?
A
From one crest of a wave to another crest

What is an amplitude?
A
A length (m) from the middle of the wave part to the crest

- the time (sec) for 1 wavelength to pass a point
