What is Salvation?

A

God’s remedy and provision for human sin is the gift of salvation, which comes by the grace of God and through faith in Christ.

Salvation is God’s plan and remedy to undo the damage that was done to humanity and creation because of the Fall of Man.

What did Jesus Christ do?

A

Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, took Himself from the sins of the whole world and died on the cross. Jesus’ death paid the price for all of ours, and His resurrection from the dead makes it possible for us to have a new and abundant life free from the penalty of sin.

A

It was NEVER God’s intention for humanity to fall into sin. Since it happened, God also made provision for us to be put back into a life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

What did God do as a result of The Fall?

A

Where humanity fell short, God took it upon Himself to live a life that is totally committed to God and completely free from sin for us. Through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Christ; God saved us from eternal separation from God, death, and hell.

What is Grace?

A

Grace means ‘gift’, so literally, salvation comes to us as God’s free gift when we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that the salvation work of Jesus Christ is real.

The death of Jesus was an atoning death. That means it paid the debt humanity owed because of sin. When Jesus died for us, He fulfilled that debt.
