Blocking
The set movements of all actors on stage throughout the play
Scenery
Two-dimensional painted wooden set pieces usually used to suggest a room in the house, a tree, etc.
Catwalk
A series of walkways above the theater used to access the lights

The combination of flats, drops and props used for particular production.
Flats
Muslin or plywood covered frames used to build the walls on the stage setting
Pantomime
A story or action performed without words, relying on body language
Audition
Tryout - reading for the director to determine the casting
Places
The direction for all actors, musicians, and technicians to go to their proper position and be ready for the beginning of a play or scene
Wings
The area of stage to the right and left where actors wait for their cues and where crew members bring sceneries in from
Strike
Taking down, changing out and putting away costumes, props, and sets after a production
Curtain call/ bows
The carefully choreographed appearance of actors on stage after their performance to acknowledge the applause of the audience
