Similarities: Reforms
The wars all led to some degree of reform
Some reforms were designed to change the way Russia is governed but autocracy remained regardless
Similarities: Cost
All the ways were costly but not as crippling to the economy as the later wars proved to be
Similarities: Loss of reputation
Russia lost to enemies which on paper were weaker then them.
Russian people were critical to leaders afterwards and protested on the streets
Differences: Enemies
In the Crimean war, Russia had to fight Britain, France and Turkey
Differences: Level of social unrest
Much higher social unrest in Russo-Japanese war than the other two. Arguably leading into the revolution ten years later
Differences: Impacts
Russo-Turkish war had the least amount of significant impact on the development of Russian government
Similarities: the Great Powers
All of the great powers had a large impact on each war
