Some believers focus on God and their life in moral way. People like atheists and humanists strongly do not believe miracles and believe that it can be explained scientifically or fake or misunderstanding. They often call it coincidence and not a miracle
Revelation
How God’s presence is revealed
Two types of revelation
Special revelation and General revelation
Special Revelation
Revelation to specific people ie Allah’s revelation of Qur’an to muhammad. This include revelations to prophethood, vision and miracles
General Revelation
Revelations available to everyone— indirect and have to be interpreted ie the world itself as believers think God created the world so it proves he exists and our conscience also prove that God exists as people have the same morals
The bible shows God’s revelation through…
Jesus is seen as the completion of God’s revelation to people as “God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets..”
The Qur’an shows Allah’s revelation…
Muslims believe Allah revealed the Qur’an directly to Muhammad— muslims also believe that God gave His early revelations to his prophets such as Musa and Isa.
Atheists and Humanists think…
That the scripture from the Holy Books are scriptures that depict their authors’ ideas about God and that events didn’t really happen and may see ancient texts as irrelevant to life today
Muslims and Christians believe…
That God created the world and it shows that God exists. They also believe that nature provides spiritual experiences that makes someone feel God’s presence such as the beautiful sunset which shows that there is a creator
