Tensor Fasciae Latae
iliotibial tract, which attaches to Gerdy’s tubercle
Sartorius
Pes anserine (superior part of medial surface of tibia)
Quadriceps femoris - rectus femoris
Via common tendinous (quadriceps tendon) and independent attachments to
base of patella; indirectly via patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity;
medial and lateral vasti also attach to tibia
and patella via aponeuroses. (Medial and lateral patellar retinacula)
Quadriceps femoris - vastus lateralis
attachments to
base of patella; indirectly via patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity;
medial and lateral vasti also attach to tibia
and patella via aponeuroses. (Medial and lateral patellar retinacula)
Quadriceps femoris - vastus medialis
attachments to
base of patella; indirectly via patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity;
medial and lateral vasti also attach to tibia
and patella via aponeuroses. (Medial and lateral patellar retinacula)
Quadriceps femoris - vastus intermedias
attachments to
base of patella; indirectly via patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity;
medial and lateral vasti also attach to tibia
and patella via aponeuroses. (Medial and lateral patellar retinacula)
Gracilis
Pes anserine (superior part of medial surface of tibia)
Adductor Longus
Linea aspera of femur (distal to adductor brevis’ attachment)
Psoas Major
Lesser trochanter of femur
Psoas Minor
Pectineal line and ilopubic eminence
Illiacus
Lesser trochanter of femur via tendon with psoas major
Pectineus
Pectineal line of femur, just inferior to lesser trochanter
Adductor brevis
pectineal line and proximal part of linea aspera of femur
Adductor magnus
adductor part: gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera, and medial supracondylar line
Hamstring part: adductor tubercle of femur
Obturator externus
trochanteric fossa of femur
