What are think-tanks?

A

A group that has been formed with the specific purpose of formulating and developing policy ideas e.g BeActive- encourages the unemployed to remain active.
-Privately funded by a group or individual that wishes to have workable ideas made into govt policy.
-They would encourage govt policies which fit in with their ideological perspective.
