R - horizontal, oblique, L - oblique
What are the bronchopulmonary segments?
The largest functional divisions of the anatomical lobes and each have own blood/air supply
What happens during emphysema?
Destruction of alveolar walls which decreases surface area and elastic tissue, + narrowing of bronchioles
