For AM Peak, seniors DONT get a discount
but they get the discount during PM Peak

During morning AM rush, seniors still must pay regular for morning rush. Its just that seniors don’t have to pay the in-train penalty charge for buying a ticket on the train.
Intermediate travel (zones 4-14) is ALWAYS Peak (even on weekends & weekdays).

Seniors pay the BLACK price only on AM Peak
Seniors pay the cheap RED price on ANY OTHER TIME
Fare Card 1A (Peak) is for stations without ticket machines
Fare Card 2A (Off-Peak) is for stations without ticket machines

ONLY STEP UP SENIORS ON A
MORNING AM PEAK TRAIN
to step up Seniors on an AM PEAK, use only the Red color on Fare Card 4
DONT STEP UP SENIORS ON PM
Instead, charge them the Red color price on Fare card 1 or 2 or 7
Fare Card 4 is for (AM & PM Peak) Rush Hour Step Ups
For passengers who have an off-peak ticket and they’re on a peak train. They need to pay the difference
Fare Card 7 is used to apply value when a customer on-board presents you with a cheaper incorrect tickets.
They’ll pay the difference and round it up.
They already have a ticket, so no on-train penalty for them
DONT ROUND UP SENIORS
