What are the types of repairing?
Regeneration and scarring(CT deposition)
What is regeneration?
Tissue are able to replace the damaged components and return to normal state
How regeneration happen?
By proliferation of cells that survived the injury and retain the capacity to generate mature cells of the tissue
What cells are responsible to regenerate ?
Mature differentiated cells or commonly tissue atem cells
When is scarring happen?
1_ If injured tissue are incapable of complete restitution
2_ supporting structure of the tissues are severely damaged
What is scarring?
Repair occurs by laying down of CT(Fibrous) that may result in formation of a scar , although is not normal but it provides a structural stability (so injured tissue is able to function)
When scarring is called fibrosis?
When it results from chronic inflammation occurs in lings,liver, kidney,and other parenchymal organs
