When and who were digging in the valley?
In November 1922, Howard Carter, an archaeologists & his companion Lord Carnarvon
How long had carter been searching & underneath which tomb had a door been discovered? How long has this door been closed for?
- He had been searching for 5 years to be the first to open it
- Underneath the burial chamber of Pharaoh Rameses VI a door had been discovered
- Carter was about to open a tomb which had been closed for 3,270 years.
How big was the room and how many objects were there?

With what items?
Gold couches, chariots, painted boxes, furniture and gold statues of the King and his servants.
What did the nearby second room contain?
It contained the King’s body, in four gold coffins. Decorated with gold collars, rings and bracelets. It had a life-like gold mask
How did this change Egyptian’s way of influence and dressing?
Women wore Egyptian style fashions, popular songs were written about Tutankhamen and a record was made of a soldier blowing a war trumpet found in the burial chamber.
