knowledge based on experience
what is magic/religious knowledge?
based on beliefs or faith from books, objs, etc
what is philosophical knowledge?
from reflection, reason and arguments.
what is scientific knowledge?
seeks laws and principles to explain phenomena
what is knowledge?
no exact definition, for some it’s info stored through intuition, others construction of concepts, other explanation of natural phenomena
what is the quantitative method?
measures social data
what is the qualitative method?
makes sense to reality through interpretations
what is the rational critical method?
finds answers beyond the given
what does the scientific method include?
defining the problems, make hypothesis, collect and analyze data, verify, reject hypothesis and make conclusions.
what is the comparative method?
studies 2+ objects with same/diff. characteristics.
what is science?
the set of systematized knowledge that is made on any field of nature, society and human thought which is held by rational or verifiable justification.
