Why do dorsal spinal processes slope caudal then cranial ?
A
T1- 15 caudally resost against pull of neck muscles
T18- L6 cranially assist against pull of strong lumbar muscles

What are floating ribs?
A
First 8 ribs are attached to sternum
The last 10 are not
Floating rib is due to it not being attached the rhe rib before it
