Jurisdiction
The competence of a particular court to hear a specific case.
Appeal
Lodged when the court has allegedly erred in its decision.
Review
The possible irregularity in the proceedings.
Negotiation
The process where the parties enter directly into communication with each other with the common goal of resolving the dispute through private decision making.
Mediation or conciliation
An independent and impartial third party called a mediator is responsible for facilitating the resolution of the dispute between the parties.
Arbitration
An independent and impartial third party acts as a private judge in the dispute. Hearing the different versions, applying the relevant law and decides the dispute by making an award.
