when an oil is substituted for a cheaper oil (eg petitgrain for neroli, lemongrass for lemon verbena, lavandin [can be propagated from cuttings, grows readily, yields 2x oil] for lavender)
how is cutting done?
odourless solutions used to dilute an essential oil (DEP for sandalwood, DPG or PEA for rose otto since it is alr a natural component)
