10 marks question
A
An introduction in which you show understanding of the context of the question (why you have been asked it) and give your own view with a key reason for it.
- You should aim to include at least two ideas other than your own, for and against the title statement.
- Evidence and examples to support your argument.
- Reference to philosophers and/or theologians and religious teachings, and use of their ideas wherever possible.
- A conclusion that summarizes why your argument is the most persuasive.

A
- Have very good knowledge of the issue, including key scholars, key arguments, background knowledge, and quotes.
- Analyse arguments by breaking them down and looking critically at the assumptions they make and the reasons they give.
- Evaluate between different viewpoints by weighing up the evidence and arguments on each side and ultimately expressing a viewpoint that you convincingly show you have good reasons to support
