Q

AIDC messaging may be used to fulfill voiceless coordination requirements in which circumstances?

A

a) Successful Transmission of the EST message.

b) in controlled airspace, apply the following:
i) Voice coordinate any clearance changes after the EST message is sent:
1) for surveillance aircraft prior to 50 NM or 10min, whichever is later, from the FDRG boundary.
2) Non-surveillance aircraft, prior to 15 minutes from the FDRG boundary.

ii) Voice coordinate the extent of off-track deviations
1) for surveillance aircraft, the extent of all off-track deviations prior to 50 NM or 10min, whichever is later from the FDRG boundary.
2) For non-surveillance aircraft, prior to 15 minutes from the FDRG boundary.

c) in uncontrolled airspace,
i) voice coordinate prior to 5 minutes from the FDRG boundary any changes to aircraft that occurred after the est message was sent; and
ii) voice coordinate the extent of all off-track deviations prior to five mins from the FDRG boundary.
