how do you do a desensitisation treatmen

A

sensory modalities of textures, contact partciels and vibration which were ranked in the assessment are applied with increasing intensity and frequency. Home exercise performance are done 3-4 times daily for 10 minute sessions

dorsal blocking splint of involved fingers (safe position) to prevent over tension and inflammation with increased scar tissue
palmar extension splint to slowly increase ROM

A

A

stress to UCL with active tip pinch or grasping until 8 after treatment. Stability is preferred over full motion
