use of CBT for psychosis
originally developed to provide treatment for residual symptoms of SZ that, despite the use of medication
aims to deal with patients with persistent positive and negative functions, just improving patients functioning in general

patients talk about their activating events(A) due to our beliefs (B) cause consequences (C)
The patients own belief which are the cause of C can be rationalised disrupted and changed
what is the normalisation stage
The therapist explains that many people experience unusual thoughts, helping the patient feel less isolated or “abnormal”.
