What is an armistice?
A truce or cease-fire. The warring sides will stop fighting and will agree on a treaty.
Why did the Allies decide to not include Germany in the peace talks? (3)
Germany=suffer
To not argue against them
Didn’t care about Germany because they were hurt by what she did

What was the USA’s goal? (2)
To prevent Germany from further wars
And for Germany to pay back what they have done.
Why was the USA least effected by the war?
Not joined war until late 1917’s and therefore took a far more detached view of the war and hadn’t suffered nearly enough as Europe.
What was the point of the fourteen points?
To make a baseline of what they would be talking about.

Territory owned by Germany that makes up the France as we know it today

He represented France and was strongly supported by the French People
Why did he have the nickname tiger?
Brave,strong,thick headed etc.

Had seen France fall 2 under German people’s hands.

- To prevent Germany from becoming so weak that a revival of the European Industry. And trade was hindered.
- To help secure France against Germany but to ensure that France didn’t become too powerful.
- To avoid Germany from suffering humiliation to turn communist (communist = poor)
