Triad of Wernicke Encephalopathy

Ataxia (loss of voluntary muscle coordination)

Opthalmoplegia (weak/ paralyzed ocular muscles)

Indication: Wernicke’s encephalopathy
— caused by exhaustion of vitamin b, particularly thiamine (vitamin B1)
