Third Side Rule

A
  • /Triangle Inequality Theorem
  • In any triangle, the sum of the lengths of any two sides must be greater than the length of the remaining side. This is a fundamental rule in geometry and ensures that the three sides can indeed form a triangle.

E.g., if you have two sides of a triangle that measure 5 units and 3 units, the third side must be greater than 2 units (5 - 3) and less than 8 units (5 + 3) for a triangle to be formed.
