TX Protocol
- Utilize the following until the back is warm
a. Palm Pushing: from upper back to BL37
b. Pressing and kneading the erector muscles of lumbar region - Plucking on erector muscles of lumbar region
- Pressing, Kneading, Vibration: BL23, BL25, BL26, BL54, GB30, BL40 – 30 sec each
- Scrubbing Lumbar region until hot

Improve ergonomics of workplace.

Piriformis Syndrome TX Protocol
- Basic back treatment
- Press the points 1/3 and 2/3 on line from greater trochanter to hiatus of the sacrum
- Dredge GB channel (dredge down IT band)
- Rolling, kneeding, and pressing at the attachments of piriformis muscle & gluteus medius
- Scrubbing transversely on lumbrosacral region
- Pointing or pressing on BL40, BL57, GB34, BL57, GB39, GB40, GB41, GB30, BL54
- Stretch place hand on hip and press knee across to opposite side
Basic Upper Back TX Protocol
- Pressing down on spine with cupped hand (timed w/ pt. exhalation)
- Light compression on BL channel of thoracic
- Palm pushing down BL to warm channel
- Pressing, vibration on Hua Tuo Jia Ji points and outside BL channel of thoracic
- Use thumb and 2nd & 3rd fingers to stretch out individual vertebrae (thumb and finger in opp dir)
- Kneading on areas of blood stagnation
- Grasping upper trapezius muscles
- Pressing on SI11 and SI12
- Scrubbing next to spine
- Rocking thoracic spine
