A

Thought blocking- people block your thoughts
Thought withdrawal- people take thoughts out of your brain
Thought insertion- others put their thoughts into your brain
Thought broadcasting- others know your thoughts

May be hard to determine this, good to probe

A

Drug induced psychosis- (crack cocaine/ cannabis) have to have used drugs in the past week
Mania with psychosis
Schizoaffective disorder
Depression withpsychotic features

A

Legally looks better, administered by ST4 and above plus MHO, can’t give depo injections or ECT. Can give raid tranquilisation or oral medication.

A

Apply to a tribunal, written up by 2 medical practicioners assessment of the patient. LAwyer and lay present also present. Patient can be present if safe to appear. Lasts six months

What other legislation is available

A

Nurses have holding powers of 3-4 hours, don’t need legislation

Compulsory treatment order- must come to clinic for treatment, typically injection. Must attend or else police are called to go and get them.
