influences the likelihood that something will cause harm

Individual charachteristics and personality (psychological)
Physical environment (environmental)
Social and economical environments (global and environmental influences)
What is self efficacy?
Your belief in your ability to deal with different situations
What are the 4 components of self efficacy?
Self mastery – how they have performed previously
Rolemodelling- Seeing other people achieving
Persuasion: being talked into believing they can do it.
Physiological cues - Emotional state can impact on individual perception of how they can manage a task
