Organisation Types:
Public sector: Government-owned organisations providing public services (e.g. NHS).
Private sector: Businesses owned by individuals or companies aiming to make profit.
What is SME & Large enterprise?
SME: A business with fewer than 250 employees and a turnover under £44 million.
Large Enterprise: A business with over 250 employees and a turnover above £44 million.
What are Non-governmental Organisations?
A non-profit group independent from the government, often focused on social, environmental or humanitarian causes.
Types of stakeholders:
Internal: People inside the organisation (e.g. employees, managers, owners).
External: People outside the organisation (e.g. customers, suppliers, government, community).
What is PLC and LTD?
PLC: A company that sells shares to the public on the stock market (must publish financial info).
LTD: A company that sells shares privately to selected people (Not listed on the stock market).
