16
Q

How is concrete made

A

by adding sand, gravel, water and cement together. interlocking crystals in the cement is formed when water is added and makes the concrete hard and strong. its then left to slowly dry out making it stronger

17
Q

How is cement made

A

Made by heating limestone with clay in a gas-fired furnace and the result will be a mixture of calcium silicate and aluminium silicate. interlocking crystals form when water is added to the dry cement powder
