Understand The Concepts Of Negative And Positive Feedback Flashcards

1
Q

Describe the characteristics of a control system

A
  1. Stimulus
  2. Receptors - detect stimuli
    Communication between afferent pathway:
    - nervous system (action potential)
    - endocrine system (hormones)
  3. Control centre (hypothalamus)
    Communication between efferent pathway
  4. Effectors - causes change e.g sweat glands, muscle and kidney
