A channel that allows the movement of substances and molecules.
Name the function of the pits.
Essential parts in the water transport of higher plants.
What is gram positive bacteria?
Bacteria with a thick cell wall made of several layers of peptidoglycan. They produce a purple stain during a test.
What is gram negative bacteria?
Bacteria with a single layer of peptidoglycan and is surrounded by an outer membrane. They produce a pink stain during a test.
What is a squamous epithelial tissue.
It is a permeable cell that is found commmonly in the alveoli, capillliaries and outer layers of skin. It is where rapid diffusion is required.
What is a columnar epithelial tissue?
It is tissue that is uni-layered and lines most of the digestive tract.
What Is an endothelium epithelial tissue?
A type of tissue that lines the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels.
