A cartographer draws and studies various types of maps.
What does an urban planner do?
An urban planner is someone who develops plans and programs for the use of land.

It is used to see many different types of information at once on a map

A thematic map focuses on one specific topic and is easy to understand
Describe a topographic map
This type of map is used for examining a small portion of the earth in great detail, they have contour lines and a grid system
