11.1 - Explain 3 aspects to be considered when quality planning

  1. To guide the planning of quality control and quality assurance activities - the objective of quality planning is to ensure the project output will meet the required spec and standard required by the product owner. Tasks needed to support quality management are added to the schedule e.g. verifying that the outputs meet requirements and the agreed acceptance criteria.
  2. To identify required resources. for example, particular test equipment could be required or a specific skill set from a specialist.
  3. To identify when quality activities should take place. Each activity will be added to the schedule and will be a mix of controls and assurance activities e.g. end of work package quality control check, audits on delivery processes.
