Constitutional Monarchy
The English Bill of Rights was a law passed in 1689 that limited the power of the king or queen and gave more power to Parliament. It helped protect the rights of the people and made sure the monarch couldn’t make laws or raise taxes without approval. This law was an important step toward democracy
