Accents: rule 1
1) Words that are stressed on the next-to-last syllable have no written accent if they end in n, s, or a vowel. Otherwise they do have a written accent. (sopa, lápiz)

2) All words that are stressed on the third syllable from the end of the word must have a written accent. (simpático)
Accents: rule 3
3) Interrogative and exclamatory words have a written accent on the vowel of the stressed syllable (¿dónde?, ¡cómo!)
