What is Food Security?
People have access, at all times, to enough safe and nutritious food or a healthy and active life.
What is Food Insecurity?
People do not have access at all times to the food they need.
What is Food Bank?
A place which gives out free donated food to people who need it.
What is the difference between food security and self sufficiency?
Food security is having access to nutritious food while self sufficiency is owning all food and not imported food.
What are three factors that puts our food security at risk?
Population Growth
Politics
Climate Change
How does climate change risk food security?
Farmers suffer more heat waves and floods.
New pests and diseases appear.
Crops and farm animals are at risk.

Population is rising.
People want a larger variety in food.
