what is the prenatal stage of life?
this is the germinal stage at 2 weeks stage 2 is the embryonic stage at 3-8 weeks and the finial stage is between week 9 and birth
what is the Newborn stage?
this is where the newborns start grasping thing and go through different reflexes the rooting, startle, and grasping reflex. these are all indications that the newborns nervous system is function correctly.
what is the infant stage?
this is where maturation starts as it is the natuarl graowt and developement process this is a good thing to look for in the developments of the brain
what is the childhood stage?
from ages 3-6 growth develops in the frontal lobe This is the time of sensitive and critical periods which is crucial to adapting properly.
what is the adolescence stage?
this is the transitions from childhood to adulthood where puberty’s happens
what is the adulthood stage?
when the body starts to physically decline causing lower hearing levels and has strength and stamina decreases
what is teratogens
agents, such as chemical and viruses that can reach the embryo or fetus during prenatal development that can cause harm.
what is fetal alcohol syndrome
physical and cognitive function deficits in children caused by thier birth mothers heavy drinking during pregnacy
what is habitation
this is the decreasing responsivness with repeated stimulation
what is maturation
biological growth processes that enable overlying changes in behavior, relatively influenced by experience
what is a critical period
an optimal period early in life of an organism when exposer to certain stimuli or experiences produces normal development
what is menopause
this is the time of natural cessation of mensuration
