Proprietary or free and open source license.
EULA
End User License Agreement, when you buy software, you are buying the rights to use that software.
Within free and open source licensing models, there are several sub-categories
- Creative Common License
- Freeware
- Freemium Software
Some software products allow the user to have options in the way the product is installed
- Typical/standard installation
- Custom installation
- Full installation
Typical/standard installation
When using the standard features of the software package.
Custom installation
Adapt the way the software will be installed and change settings.
Full installation
If you want to use all the features, this will take up more hardware space than typical installation.
Program and Features
The control panel has this option that allows you to uninstall and modify an installed program.
